Thank you for choosing the smartest animal for your photography experience. To ensure a smooth, enjoyable session for everyone, please review the policies and frequently asked questions below.

Booking & Scheduling

  • How do I book a photoshoot?
    Sessions can be booked directly through our Contact Page / Booking Form. A deposit is required to reserve your date and time.

  • Do you require a deposit?
    Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This ensures commitment on both ends and goes toward your final balance.

  • How far in advance should I book?
    We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and golden hour sessions, which fill quickly.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • What if I need to reschedule?
    We allow one complimentary reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice. Less than 72 hours may result in a reschedule fee.

  • What happens if I cancel?
    Deposits are non-refundable, but you may transfer your deposit toward a future session if you notify us in time.

  • What if it rains or the weather doesn’t cooperate?
    Outdoor shoots may be rescheduled without penalty due to inclement weather. We’ll make the call together 24 hours prior to your session.

During the Photoshoot

  • How long is a session?
    Standard sessions last 60–90 minutes, depending on the package booked. Extended or event sessions may vary.

  • Can I bring outfit changes?
    Yes! Multiple outfits are encouraged for variety. We recommend 2–3 changes for standard sessions.

  • Can I bring props or pets?
    Absolutely. Props and pets are welcome as long as they are safe and manageable during the shoot. Please let us know in advance.

Deliverables & Editing

  • When will I receive my photos?
    Standard turnaround time is 7–14 business days. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

  • How many photos will I get?
    The number of edited photos depends on your chosen package. You will also have access to a private proof gallery to select your favorites.

  • Do you provide raw/unedited files?
    No. We only provide professionally edited images that represent our artistic style and quality standards.

Pricing & Payments

  • How do I pay?
    Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, or other secure online methods. Final balances are due the day of your session.

  • Are travel fees included?
    Travel within 30 miles of the greater NYC areas is included. A travel fee applies for sessions outside this range—quoted during booking.

Usage & Rights

  • Do I own the photos from my session?
    You receive personal use rights for all delivered images. This means you can print, share, and post on social media (with credit appreciated).

  • Can I use the photos commercially?
    Commercial usage requires a separate agreement and licensing fee. Please discuss your needs before booking.
